How to create a WordPress Website in a day!

If you are anything like me, the prospect of doing your own website is a daunting one! But after delaying setting up a website for many, MANY, years I decided to commit to a one day course at CityLit to learn exactly this. For too many years I have been threatening to do this, and what stopped me? Fear!

Fear is what what stops anyone doing most things which, let’s face it, with a bit of effort, we can often do, just that yet we find other things to distract us doing the very thing dreading doing it. My fear was that I had so many images and my perfectionism was holding me back. I wanted a website that was perfect and I wanted to display only my best images… yet I had no idea where to start as I had not put those “best images” in a folder for this very day. So I have had to overcome my need to have only what I consider “perfect images” and slowly I have been browsing images taken in last 5 years or so as my starting point. It is a daunting tasks and I wish I had put my “great” images in a folder as I went but I am slowly getting a website together of sorts and I will continue to add to it.
